Higher Education & Professional Development

Fostering Global Scientific Leadership

From international research collaborations to intensive trainings in rheology and entrepreneurship, our center supports graduate student-driven opportunities for scientific growth and leadership development. Examples include Alex Foret's 10-week research experience in Dresden, Germany, Emmanuel Alejandro Garcia Villatoro's intensive rheology program at the University of Minnesota, and Alexis Martell's 8-week management certificate program at the Kellogg School of Business. Additionally, our trainees gain valuable experience through leadership roles in MONET's Student Leadership Team, enhancing their professional skills in NSF funding review, management, and collaborative decision-making.
