Our team has filed multiple patents and engaged in key technology transfer discussions to maximize the societal impact of our discoveries. We've submitted patent applications for innovative technologies such as engineered virus-like particles with enhanced endoskeletons, VLP-functionalized hydrogels for long-term delivery systems, and cyclobutane-based machanophore cross-linkers for tougher acrylate-based polymers. Our research has also successfully transitioned into industrial applications, as evidenced by the $735,000 two-year award from ExxonMobil for "Remoldable and Recyclable Polydi/tricyclopentadiene Thermosets". We've engaged with multiple industry partners, including Toyota, BASF, Lanxess, and Sekisui Chemical Company, to explore potential collaborations and technology transfer opportunities.
